Experience the Summer of a Lifetime
Serve God and explore the world with something that comes naturally to you: speaking English. Through teaching conversational English you can develop meaningful friendships and equip people with a practical skill that can improve their lives. Join us for a trip this summer in Cambodia, China, Russia, Vietnam, Hungary or North Africa. Summer trips begin at the end of June and and continue through the beginning of August. All teachers raise a modest amount of financial support. Whether you are a college student, a teacher, or just someone with a flexible schedule: make the most of this summer through serving God with TeachOverseas!
You can help the Cambodian people rebuild their communities by teaching Cambodian children this summer. This special summer school builds up today’s youth, who are desperately seeking opportunities to improve their education. You can teach a variety of subjects, based on your strengths, including: drama, computers, reading, photography and sports.
I felt like I was part of an important transition in Cambodia’s history through being a part of the children’s lives.
Teach conversational English in an innovative "Total Immersion Program" (TIP). You'll have tremendous opportunities to interact with your students who'll likely be middle school English teachers. You'll never forget times of laughing, sharing and just "being" with your students!

Join a team working with middle school, high school or college students in the larger St. Petersburg area and fall in love with the country, the people, the culture. Vietnam is brimming with beautiful scenery, vibrant marketplaces, and friendly people who have never interacted with a follower of Jesus. You can make friends in Vietnam this summer through teaching conversational English to middle school, high school and college students.
My time in Vietnam was better than I can even begin to describe. The people are so wonderful, so warm and genuinely friendly.
Hungarian refugee camps are full of people who have left war-torn countries and are seeking better lives. Camps are also staffed by border guards who need to know English in order to fulfill their responsibilities. You can reach out to refugees and border guards through teaching conversational English this summer.
I met some amazing people at the refugee camps. I never dreamed that God would mold me the way He did this
summer.
Journey to the intriguing country of Kazakhstan and develop genuine friendships with middle school, high school and college students. Students are eager to learn English in order to help Kazakhstan join the international community. Your service in the Spirit of Christ's love can make a lasting impact on individuals and their families.
